FG Molekulare Mikrobiologie

We are mainly interested in the physiology of bacteria. In our research projects, we study nucleotide-based second messenger signaling, mechanisms of gene regulation, moonlighting proteins, mechanisms of adaptation to perturbation of metabolism, resistance against inhibitors like glyphosate and lysogenic bacteriophages.
