Department of Molecular Microbiology
We are interested in the physiology of Gram-negative and Gram-positive model bacteria. In our research projects, we study nucleotide-based second messenger signaling, mechanisms of gene regulation, moonlighting proteins, the evolution of metabolic pathways and herbicide resistance mechanisms. We are also interested in lysogenic bacteriophages.
